LEAH Schools Downtown Academy (LDA) is a licensed, early childhood education center that provides a safe, faith-based learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten. LDA opened in the spring of 2021 after being acquired by the Lutheran Education Association of Houston (LEAH).

LEAH was established in 1949 to meet the demand for students enrolled in Lutheran elementary schools in Houston to continue their education in a Lutheran high school. In addition to the newly established LEAH Schools Downtown Academy, LEAH operates two other private, college preparatory Christian schools throughout the greater Houston area with a combined enrollment of over 1000 students and more than 175 faculty and staff:

•  Lutheran South Academy (Grades PK3-12)

•  Westlake Preparatory Academy (Grades PK3-8)
