Kathy Entzenberger - AdministratorOur Campus Administrator, Kathy Entzenberger, grew up in a small town in Illinois, went to college in Chicago, moved to San Antonio, and then relocated to Houston in 2017 . She has been a first grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, a school administrator working with extended care programs and family ministry. She has served as an early childhood administrator for the past 20 years managing, training, and encouraging staff toward the highest standards and supporting young children during the foundational years as they learn and grow to be the best God made them to be.


Kathy has a bachelor's in elementary education and a master's in early childhood education, as well as a wealth of leadership experience to round out her resume.


Kathy and her husband, Greg, have two children. The oldest, Gretchen, is employed with Moss Roofing here in Houston.  Their son, Andrew, is a high school teacher at Lutheran High School in San Antonio where he lives with his wife Danielle.

Kaitlin Crowley- Director of Admissions & Community Engagement

Kaitlin is from San Antonio, Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogodoches, Texas. Kaitlin worked in Human Resources for a public school district before moving to Houston in 2018 when she began working at our school. Kaitlin is currently preparing for a three-day backpacking trip that will cover 27 miles!

Joy Gonzales- Director of Curriculum & Instruction

Mrs. Joy is beginning her 11th year with LEAH Schools in a new role as Director of Curriculum and Instruction here at LEAH Downtown. She spent the last 10 years at Lutheran South Academy teaching PK4, taught in a special education classroom in Clear Creek ISD for 4 years, as well as 2 years in the Toddler and Two's rooms at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Mrs. Joy is married to Pastor Lonnie from Trinity Downtown. They have three children. Mrs. Joy looks forward to the year growing with and engaging the LDA community in learning about the wonderful things that help us all become better prepared human beings and followers of Christ!
